MAIN TECHNICAL CREW

Director and Writer: Joanna Tomkins

Has been working for international audiovisual companies since 1998, mainly in production and distribution fields for television. She currently lives between Spain and South Africa, working as a line producer for international televisions and developing the Rainbow Nation 2010 program. She has a postgraduate in African Studies, from Pompeu Fabre University in Barcelona. This is her debut in documentary directing.

Photography: Ricardo Delgado Conradi

An excellent photography director both technically and artistically, as the high quality shots demonstrate. He also has 10 years experience in direction assisting in television and video production in Barcelona. He specialises in experimental still photography.

Sound and Camera: Manel Gaspar Lucas

He is a location scout and production manager with a name in the international services field in Barcelona. He is passionate about Africa and has travelled there frequently before he decided to take an active part in the project.

Editor: Nacho Ruiz Capillas

Winner of a Goya, Spanish film academy prize, in 2001 for the editing of the film The Others. He is also the editor of many other major Spanish theatrical releases such as Princesas (2007), Noviembre (2003), Los Lunes al Sol (2002), El Bola (2000), La Lengua de las Mariposas (1998), etc.  He is the video editor of Rainbow Nation 2010.
